Ruhpolding Germany

Ruhpolding Germany is a pretty village in the foothills of Chiemgau Alps – Bavaria’s true winter paradise. Known not just for beer and pretzels, the local European families come here for a perfect holiday. Away from the metropolitan noise and busy lifestyle, Ruhpolding is a perfect home base for a family adventure and commune with nature.

My Remarkable Snow Experience

However, when I was here, I was still single and fortunate enough to come here for free, due to work! That’s when I realised that dreams do come true. Since 13 years old, I have always been writing my wishes and this is one of my magical testament that with faith, everything is possible in its perfect time.

So, you can imagine how happy I am with this opportunity!

Meeting good natured and cordial people in this experience plus being surrounded by Snow, the Alps and vast land, I am genuinely thankful.

This hotel is perfect for big groups as they have dormitory rooms with bunk beds, separate comfort rooms and bath. They have great rooms and amenities for functions, seminars or workshops which are really cosy with glass walls and roller blinds.

One cannot feel the cold as the whole area is centrally heated and fireplaces are strategically located. So, even though we were working and learning during this trip, we still feel ultimately relaxed all throughout.

When it is time for meals, everyone needs to walk towards another building. Well, we don’t mind as it gives us a reason to play before getting there.

I was feeling like a child again here. Thus, I will definitely remember this second snow experience.

These trees are witnesses to all my delightful moments. 🙂 And the Alps are my spectators.

Meanwhile, I am forewarning tourists that Hotel Labenbachhof is completely off the beaten path or nowhere near to Ruhpolding’s town centre. Although the place is superbly nice, without a car, you cannot reach anywhere else.

However, I guess it serves us well on purpose – so that we can finish the whole course and all our working agenda on time. We are only able to go shopping at a specified time.

Hi, breakthefog! My pleasure. Yes, I had the best time there and the memories always bring me a smile. When you’ll be here, Ruhpolding Cable Car – Rauschbergbahn, Berchtesgaden’s Underground Salt Mine and the Kognissee Lake are must-visit places. If you’ll have enough time, swing by to Salzburg Austria and you’ll be singing the “Sound of Music” or Mozart’s pieces. =)
